I recently encountered a problem at a client where the save as function of an updated Adobe Reader would seemingly just hang. This seems to be new to version 20074. The culprit as it seems is the cloud save functionality – if you are not using any of the adobe cloud services then you could speed things up by turning off the following option under Edit > Preferences > General

Untick “Show online storage when opening files” and the application should be responsive again!
